Crissic Solutions, LLC is beginning a 2 week period test with a new datacenter. Within this time period, all those VPS users interested can have their data transferred to the new VPS node in Pacific Rack, and get new IP’s. After the two week period you can continue on that new node, or be moved back to the original node. This would be a test, and you can chose to stay or to move back, and we would request that if you do move that you give us some information on the new node. We would like your feedback on uptime, performance, and speeds. We believe that by providing a node in a different datacenter with better carriers, that your services should improve.
Pacific Rack is a state of the art Data Center located in Los Angeles, California on the Pacific Coast of the United States of America. The bandwidth providers consist of: Level(3), Sprint, T-Systems, Global Crossing, Tiscali, BTW/PCCW, VERIO, XO Communications, SAVVIS, MCI/UUNET, Telia, LA-IIX Peering, Any2 Exchange Peering.
Please do note that by switching, there is NO additional cost, and your server price WILL remain the same. All VPS users that participate in this testing can receive double a spec of their choice, consisting of either HDD, RAM, Bandwidth, or up to 5 additional IP’s.
To begin the transfer of your files and to move to this new node for testing, please open a new support ticket with our Dedicated Support department. Please note that all VPS users are welcome to switch to this, but are not required. If we find that the new node is better than the current one you are on, then after 2 weeks we will be moving all client data over regardless, issuing new IP’s. If we do not find this satisfactory via our clients relaying information back to us, then we will continue to use the old node in the Atjeu, LLC Datacenter.
